We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate process and recording of the company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, daily data entry and perform related work as required.

Responsibilities:

Understand all aspects of payroll regarding payroll laws and regulations.Manage work-flow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately.Provide excellent customer service to employees: in the areas of compensation, taxes, benefits, how to clock in/out, how to request time off.Perform daily/weekly/semi-monthly payroll operations.Process employee data (new hires, changes).Process 401K, HSA and garnishment payments.Complete employment verifications and unemployment insurance information requests.Process accurate and timely reports as needed along with year-end reporting.Process manual checks. Requirements 3-5 years’ experience in payroll processingAssociates degree in accounting (preferred)SAP experience preferredWorking knowledge of payroll best practicesStrong knowledge of federal and multiple state regulationsStrong PC knowledge including proficiency in ExcelDetail-oriented and able to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential informationStrong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skillsStrong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
