This position within the Naval Sustainment SSBU will provide Finance support to the Aegis Illuminators & Naval/Radar Sustainment Major Program teams. We are seeking a motivated finance professional with a knack to learn, grow and succeed as a Principal Specialist (P3). This portfolio consists of DoD and FMS content, with contracts ranging from production to engineering services to support the U.S. Navy and allied forces. The candidate selected for this role will primarily support Cost Type content.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator with a deep desire to learn while being challenged. Competitive applicants must have the ability to think on their feet, make decisions in an exciting environment, manage competing priorities and interact with various levels of administration. This position will provide an opportunity to improve skills in SAP (APEX/PRISM), estimates at complete, variance analysis, and apply them to existing and future pursuits.

Open to candidates within commuting distance to McKinney, TX, San Diego, CA, Marlborough Massachusetts, Chesapeake Virginia, Balboa California, Denver Colorado, and Tucson Arizona.

What You Will Do

Project Structure creation, development and maintenance, across many contractual efforts.Managing Cost incurred (at element of cost level), Funding and schedule analysis across many contractual efforts.Preparation and completion of customer reporting deliverables (CDRLs).Ongoing Invoice generation and collaboration with Billing Team.Exposure to special projects including but not limited to Gate Reviews, Proposals, RFIs, ROMs, Balance Sheet Cleanup and FP&A.Ensure the effective implementation of EACs through partnering with Program Management and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree in Business, Math, Finance, Accounting or a closely related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.Experience using SAP (APEX, PRISM, and/or BW/AO), RTN PMX or similar financial systems.Invoicing Experience, CLIN-level Funding Analysis, IOT experience, Management of multiple programs.Experience with EVMS, Program Controls (Cost/Schedule) and/or EAC Process.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
