Finance Productivity Leader

Job Description SummaryThe Finance Productivity Leader is responsible for setting up process, tools and governance to manage cost for international region. This role will provide finance leadership to a cross functional team and will be focused on defining and refining our cost review processes, creating sustainable analysis and insights, leading to action plans that will facilitate the business meeting its financial commitments.
The candidate will need to demonstrate capability in cross functional team alignment, a mindset for analytics and an in-depth knowledge of cost pools and how they are influenced.

We operate at the center of an ecosystem working toward precision health - digitizing healthcare, helping drive productivity and improving outcomes for patients, providers, health systems and researchers around the world.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesPartner with functions & operations to lead productivity efforts for the International regionEstablish reporting tools and KPI’s that drive accountability and visibility into cost performanceSet up processes, tools and governance to manage cost proactively, including policies, delegation of authority and reviewsPartner with central FP&A and zone finance leaders to translate cost actions, to their upstream impact to the P&L at final delivery, and the zones are meeting target costs.Partner with functions & operations to identify, offset, and scale cost projects and offset cost pressuresCalculate impact of strategic processes, validate results, communicate outcomeCo-lead the creation and sustainment of monthly Cost and Productivity rhythmsPerform role with mindset for continuous improvement using lean methodologiesQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and 8+ years financial work experience. Fluent in English and any other local language requiredAt least 6 years of experience managing a multi-functional Finance organizationStrong knowledge of GE financial and commercial operating systemsTrained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six SigmaDemonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise mannerStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and regions. Prioritize minimum gemba walks to enable frontline dynamics.Leadership experience of managing teams distributed across multiple countries.Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teamsExperience with SAS (software as service) and digital products will be a plusStrategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plansStrong analytical, project management, and organizational skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure; accelerate pacing of actions; collaborate for a dynamic daily management system.Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situationsExperience working in a matrixed environment and a multi-cultural environmentProficiency in financial software and tools
