This position reports to the Finance Director, Treasury, and plays a critical and impactful role on the Treasury Debt Operations team.  This role will serve as individual contributor with growth opportunity of leading a team in the future. They will serve as the subject matter expert on all the Company’s various debt facilities and will work closely with outside lenders. They will manage project cash, manage and assist in the establishment of the company’s SBLC, Letter or Credit and Bond program and will collaborate closely with the Controller group, Construction Development, FP&A and Capital Markets teams to support the Company’s funding strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and report on various hedging and other derivative activities

Assist in all loan onboarding and construction loan closeout processes.

Assist in the administration of the Treasury Management System for Financial Instruments and Debt including educating the Debt Team on loan and derivative build requirements and reviewing the buildout of all debt instruments within the system.

Maintain debt and project cash forecasts and advise Treasury Cash Ops on liquidity aspects for short-term and long-term planning

Oversee & establish the company’s SBLC, Surety Bond & Letter of Credit program including development of executive reports.

Plays a key role in the interest and financial instruments budget model and deliverables for annual and quarterly budget reforecasts.  This position serves as the first management level review and provides support and guidance on debt and derivatives.  

Review monthly draws ensuring compliance with lender models and credit agreements.

Monitor cash compliance for all debt facilities and serve as the subject matter expert for the execution and management of cash per credit agreements

Performs and accurately analyzes the cash management process including the maintenance of proper account balances, reviews all cash management transactions for debt pool reporting to determine company's cash position related to financing, and provides cash position recommendation to management and Treasury Cash Ops as needed.

Develop concise and accurate treasury reporting and dashboards utilized by senior leadership.

Identify and implement process improvement initiatives and other special projects assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS in Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting

Seven or more years of experience in treasury operations and finance

CTP, CPA, or equivalent certification or experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA, or graduate finance related degree

Mid-sized or large company experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

A strategic thinker with an understanding of accounting and banking processes

Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments
