Position Overview
International Financial is currently seeking a Finance Senior Manager to join our Finance Team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire budgeting process, including the preparation, administration, and control of the budget and all subsequent forecasts throughout the business cycle. You will also manage the activities of financial analysts, ensuring their tasks align with the organization’s financial objectives.
The Senior Manager will play a key role in reviewing and approving recommendations for financial planning and control, while providing vital fiscal information to the International Financial executive management team. This position reports directly to the Financial Controller and is based at our Lisle headquarters in Illinois.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial management and leadership, looking to make a significant impact on the company’s financial strategy and performance.
Responsibilities
+ Create and manage budgets and forecasts for short, medium, and long-term planning.
+ Partner with operational teams to align financial strategies with business initiatives.
+ Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results and provide insights to senior leadership.
+ Present financial status and analysis to the Executive Management Team.
+ Supervise and mentor financial analysts, supporting their professional development.
+ Streamline the financial planning process and improve efficiency across the organization.
+ Assist in the creation and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
+ Manage special projects and provide actionable financial recommendations to drive business success.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ At least 6 years of finance and budgeting experience
+ At least 3 years of leadership experience
OR
+ Master’s degree
+ At least 5 years of finance and budgeting experience
+ At least 3 years of leadership experience
OR
+ At least 10 years of finance and budgeting experience
+ At least 3 years of leadership experience
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
+ Proven experience in finance and budgeting.
+ Financial services experience is preferred, but not required.
+ Strong skills in Excel and Power BI.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
+ Demonstrated people management experience.
+ A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
