What You'll Do

You will join BCG Istanbul Finance Team reporting to the Financial Planning, Accounting & Reporting Manager. You will support BCG entities on multiple operations, delivering accurate Finance, Accounting and Reporting-related services to support the business needs in the local Office. 
In addition to fulfilling day-to-day responsibilities, you will be responsible for ensuring that the processes are adequately designed and are constantly evolving to address the changes sufficiently and efficiently in the business environment.
You will have the chance to interact with a diverse pool of stakeholders, both local and international, like Consulting Team members, other Finance colleagues based in other EMC (East Mediterranean and Caspian) offices, especially Milan office. 



What You'll Bring

Relevant prior experience (4 years ideally) in a multinational company (preferably a big four or professional services firm environment) within the same area;University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance; Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint;Very good communication skills, both written and oral in Turkish and English;Strong analytical, ownership and accountability skills, with the ability to manage high-sensitive data;Relevant team-working skills and attitude to work in a dynamic, international and fast-paced environment;Good level experience with SAP may represent a plus.

Running the day-to-day accounting operations under the supervision of the Financial Planning, Accounting &Reporting Manager in cooperation with local Finance team and advisors;Ensuring compliance with local statutory and US GAAP accounting requirements, including participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, for Statutory and Group Reporting purposes;Supporting local office management in ensuring that local accounting practices comply with BCG policies and local accounting regulations;Proactively identifying and addressing areas of development of accounting processes to increase efficiency;Regularly running and analyzing monthly and annual reports;Cooperating with Finance colleagues, in the preparation of all required documentation and schedules to support the annual audit;Monitoring budget vs actuals of expenses cycles;Supporting regular tax filing and reporting processes;Managing ad-hoc requests from Leadership Team and Finance Teams; Overseeing payment process for suppliers and expenses in compliance with internal processes and policies;Taking part in special projects, as needed, with even Global visibility.
