Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Finance Specialist to add to our Corporate finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for accounts payable, month end- and bank reconciliations and journal entries for the homebase team in Waco. You will also help our different locations in various states all over the US with compliance matters, accounts
payable, annual insurance audits and other tasks as assigned. The successful candidate will have experience with HR compliance and regulatory requirements, payroll, full cycle accounting and commercial insurance.

Responsibilities and Duties
● Corporate (Homebase)
o Responsible for accounts payable
o Reconcile bank and other accounts
o Month end reconciliation
o Handling journal entries
● Nationwide
o Set up and monitor insurance, renew insurance when necessary
o File corporate accounts payable
o Gather accurate state and local tax forms for onboarding (i.e. W4)
o Prepare for annual insurance audits
o Review and monitor payroll and HR compliance with different state laws
o Report workers compensation claims for some states
o Verify employment status for workers in different territories
Required Skills:
● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
● Experience in corporate finance or auditing is a plus.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet management.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
● High school diploma or equivalent, degree in relevant field preferred
