We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join a quickly growing, high visibility initiative within our Shared Services team at our BCG Nexus (NXC) office. The Finance Specialist will work closely with multiple teams and business partners throughout North America to support the financial management of client and case team portfolios.
In this role, you’ll have the chance to gain the valuable knowledge and skills necessary for a career in finance. You will participate in special projects, analysis, and initiatives to optimize the performance of current capabilities utilizing data analytics and business intelligence tools. You will also be exposed to data analytics tools, such as Alteryx, giving you the chance to develop skills in these popular technologies. You will participate in the delivery of reliable finance and accounting services to support business needs in the key areas of financial management, project management, client contract management, and revenue and cash management.
BCG Nexus is an exciting office in Heredia, Costa Rica that executes best-in-class operations serving the broader BCG business. As a shared services center, various regional and global functional teams are co-located in a dynamic and engaging space that enables 400+ team members to connect with and serve our BCG and client customer base. This is our first BCG office in Costa Rica, and is located in Ultrapark I.
What You'll Do
Financial Management and Client Case Team Support
· Enable and execute efficient revenue and cash management operations for case teams and local Finance teams in the key areas of project management, contracting, invoicing, legal, and risk
· Partner with the North America Region Controller Analysis team on regional and global initiatives to improve days sales outstanding (DSO) and client contract management across the North America region
· Collaborate with a wide variety of business partners, including local, regional, and global Finance teams, as well as global Legal and Risk teams on shared cross-functional initiatives
· Analyze and further refine shared services support model leveraging best practices across North America to improve regional business processes and reporting of key metrics
· Identify and implement operational process and productivity improvements to enhance controls and increase procedural effectiveness
What You'll Bring
· B.A./B.S. degree in accounting or finance with 1-3 years of finance experience preferred, or equivalent experience
· High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
· Familiarity and experience working with data analytics tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI is preferred
· Analytical proficiency with strong business/financial management/accounting background
· Ability to work varied hours to complete projects and tasks according to deadlines

Who You'll Work With
As part of the North America Regional Finance Shared Services team, you will partner closely with other regional Finance teams, local Finance teams in BCG locations across North America, case teams, and clients participating in the delivery of reliable services to support business needs.
