Finance Summer Internship

Summer Internship Start Dates: May 19th, June 2nd and June 9th

The assignment will be focused on: assisting the finance and accounting group in the areas of forecasting, digitalization, revenue recognition and accruals. The intern also could assist with special projects as they come about and will be an integral member of the team.  The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where new initiatives and consistent learning define each day. We are looking for a candidate who wants to make a change and is enthusiastic about building relationships.

This is a Summer Internship that will last from late May 2025 through late August 2025.

You’ll make an impact by: Analyzing and documenting current accounting processes. Working with team to recommend initiatives to improve accounting processes. Supporting our revenue and expense recognition processes. Working with other departments to understand nature of revenue and expenses being incurred. Reconciliation of accounts as part of normal close activities.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Management with an Accounting or Finance concentration major currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year educational institution. Must have high attention to detail.  Must work effectively in teams, as well as independently.  Ability to work 40 hours per week in-person (Wendell, NC) or hybrid from late May to early August.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines.

Strong computer skills required, including proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).  Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $19.00-$23.00 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
