Job Description

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Freight & Distribution processes, which cover all aspects of Logistics Category Financial Planning & Analysis through Actual/Update/Plan. The Finance Supervisor is the key financial contact working in partnership with US & OUS Distribution/Warehousing operations stakeholders as well as the Commercial partners that fund them. The Finance Supervisor also works with external Logistics partners to support Freight Payment Automation processes and Logistics Strategic Roadmap activities supporting the Digital Supply Chain emphasizing Data Analytics segments and Synergies/SMIs.

The Finance Supervisor role is responsible for managing all financial reporting for multiple Global Distribution and Logistics (GDL) Business Units (BU’s) related to Freight & Distribution including the US COE and OUS COEs (EMEA, JAPAC, LATAM).

Responsibilities

 Reviews and submits monthly Freight & Distribution accruals, reclasses, and various cost allocation journal entries.Reviews large volumes of Transportation data and prepare standard Logistics KPI packages for Senior management review. Works with all aforementioned GDL BU’s to create Freight & Distribution budgets for both Operations and Commercial orgs.Leads and develops monthly Actuals reporting and annual Plan/ Update and Monthly LBEs as required, using BPC and SAP. Incorporates review changes into Plan/Update/LBE/LRP. Presents financial update, and budget specifics during monthly meetings with the Directors of Freight & Distribution as well as Commercial leadership who fund the operations.     Identifies and formulates plans to eliminate or reduce inefficiencies across BUs.Oversees and develops standard Logistics packages for management review and develop raw data into actionable intelligence. Develops, executes, and monitors ongoing Freight payment automation process, working with third-party vendor, freight carriers, and internal regional transportation managers. Effectively manages two (2) Sr. Financial Analysts, focusing on key skills of development including financial modeling/reporting, time management, and other soft skills related to leadership and networking.Provides opportunities for report to lead meetings and ad hoc financial projects as they relate to the role.Cross trains the role in other GDL subgroups in order to drive efficiency and innovation.
Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.CPA or MBA a plus.7-10 plus years of finance/accounting experience.Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.Possess a working knowledge of the Corporate Financial Manual (CFM) and the ability to apply the correct policy to business issues.Proven ability to turn raw data into actionable intelligence.Proficient Excel skills required.Knowledge and proficiency in systems, particularly MS Suite, BPC, SAP, Power BI, Power Query, and Workiva.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
