The Finance Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial tools and systems that support financial reporting, planning, and accounting. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between Finance and IT to ensure that financial systems are efficient, up-to-date, and secure. The role will lead efforts to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations through strategic use of technology.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Optimization
Design and implement strategies to transform the finance function in alignment with company objectives. Analyze existing finance processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions through system improvements. Collaborate with Global Finance leadership to design and implement financial systems roadmapTechnology Integration & System Management
Oversee the integration of new technologies into finance operations, such as ERP systems, planning and analysis tools. Act as Business Process Owner for the Finance functioning ERP and other system projects. Act as a liaison between finance and IT departments to ensure technical projects meet financial requirements and adhere to internal control policies. Manage upgrades and maintenance for existing financial systems Manage and improve current and new Anaplan models for FP&A. Design and own builds for new models according to agreed upon Anaplan roadmap. Collaborate with external vendors and product support teams to troubleshoot systems issues as they arise.Process Re-engineering & Data Management
Collaborate with key stakeholders to document and re-engineer current processes for finance and accounting systems, continuously identifying gaps and opportunities for automation. Work with Finance business partners and IT partners to find solutions to challenges identified and lead the implementation of solutions using both existing technology and new tools. Ensure data accuracy within all finance-related systems.Project Management & Communication
Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of transformation efforts. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team. Manage stakeholder communication across all levels of the organization regarding transformation initiatives. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, issues, and budgetary implications to senior leadership.Training and User-Support
Develop and support ongoing user training to ensure all functional users understand the application capabilities and leverage system capabilities to deliver the optimal user experience to the Finance team for the various systems. Troubleshoot and provide timely responses to technical issues related to models and data.Develop and build a high -performing team
Have overall accountability for hiring performance management, development, and engagement of direct and indirect reports. Act as a people developer, leading a feedback and performance culture, modeling two-way feedback, accountability, and recognition. Provide ongoing transparent discussion regarding development, Rise objective review, and career aspirations. Onboarding: Proactively guide team through induction, on-the-job training, and familiarization with the LVMH ecosystem, providing all necessary contacts and resources, and encouraging attendance to relevant events. Be a performance enabler, ensuring equitable development of direct and indirect reports. Be a business driver, by hosting regular team meetings to set realistic objectives, reviewing KPIs, measuring progress, discussing ongoing projects, and aligning team focuses to organizational strategic priorities. Keep direct and indirect reports up to date with important functional, company, and LVMH news.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, IT, or other analytics-related fields, and 5 years related experience. Equivalent may be accepted Prior experience in leading the implementation of financial systems Models building experience in Anaplan highly preferred Prior people leadership experience highly desired
Schedule:
Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly to a Benefit Office
The target salary range for this position in California is $120,000 - $145,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
