Finance Technician I - Tax Compliance

As a Finance Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Finance and Tax teams. In this role you’ll review and process customer tax exemption paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You’ll also assist store teams and customers by answering question regarding tax forms, including how they are completed and where to send them. Additionally, you’ll help manage incoming mail and assist with scanning and distribution of documents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Process customer sales tax exemption forms received physically and electronically.

Answer a high volume of internal and external customer phone calls.

Correspond with stores via email/phone on tax form issues.

Help distribute mail to department.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

Excellent phone/customer service skills

Great attention to detail and organization skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel

Desired:

Previous office experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

2 year associate degree
