What You’ll Be Doing:
Oversee and review bank reconciliations prepared by the bookkeepers. Ensure all transactions in the general ledger are valid, accurate, and complete. Prepare monthly financial packs, including balance sheet reconciliations, within deadlines. Prepare accurate journals and monthly reconciliations with third-party partners. Assist with tax submissions and year-end audits, including drafting statutory financial statements. Contribute to finance improvement projects and system implementations. Collaborate with other departments to resolve commercial issues and improve processes. Key Requirements:
Accounting degree (Essential) Studying towards CA (SA), CIMA, or SAIPA qualification (Preferred) 2-3 years’ experience in a financial environment or completed articles (Essential) Experience with multi-national groups, ideally across Africa and/or the UK (Preferred) Familiarity with finance business systems (ERP platforms like Netsuite) Experience in preparing VAT and corporate tax returns (Preferred) Ability to work under pressure with advanced time management and organizational skills (Essential) Proficient in MS Office (Essential) What We’re Looking For:
