Financial Accounting & Analysis Professional (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

Position Overview:

The Non-Mortgage Investments Accounting team within Freddie Mac’s Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) CFO department is seeking a Financial Controller Professional for the monthly and quarterly financial close cycle execution and financial result analysis for Non-Mortgage related asset transactions. The candidate should also be open minded and be adaptable to changes within the organization, as well as their own team!

Our Impact:

The I&CM CFO department is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, portfolio risk and profitability analysis, pricing and valuation activities, and financial planning & analysis for Freddie Mac’s Capital Markets segment. The candidate will perform accounting close cycle execution, and financial results analysis for securities in the I&CM Non-Mortgage Investments Portfolio.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will play a part supporting the financial close for the I&CM CFO department. As a member of the Non-Mortgage Investments Accounting team, you will be responsible for the accounting and analysis related to the Treasury & Repurchasing Agreements, as well as a variety of other Non-Mortgage related assets.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of accounting or related professional work experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Intermediate MS Excel and Word Skills

Strong time management skills to manage one’s own time, competing priorities and multiple tasks and deadlines

Flexibility to tackle new or additional assignments and adapt to changes in the current processes or environment

Must be a phenomenal teammate (but also be able to work independently), proactive and detail oriented

Proven interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively with continuous change and short deadlines

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $75,000 - $113,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
