Position Overview:
Freddie Mac’s Finance Division is currently seeking a Financial Controller Professional to be a member of the Single Family CFO Reporting team. The hired individual will work as a valued strategic partner to the business and will focus on financial reporting, which includes preparation and analysis of Single Family Segment results, certain regulatory reporting, Multi-class reporting and other internal/external reporting.
Our Impact:
Help explain the SF financial results in terms of business and market drivers
Assist with various requests related to external disclosures for 10Q/10K/Press release
Assist with various ad hoc requests from FHFA and senior management
Assist and support ongoing SOX compliance activities
Your Impact:
Craft and prepare certain slides within the SF financial reporting package. Running /preparing various reports/ analysis to help understand and explain drivers
Provide timely, accurate and reliable financial information
Provide SF results for FHFA Purchase characteristics report and assisting with other regulatory reports.
Ad hoc reporting, for both external and internal requests/deliverables
Will involve running SQL queries
Supporting ongoing SOX compliance activities
Qualifications:
2 years of related professional work experience (accounting/ auditing/financial analytics/reporting)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. Knowledge of GAAP
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
CPA certification or candidate preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $75,000 - $113,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
