SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing support to the Payroll Department. Due to the fast paced office environment, there is often an overflow of various tasks needing to be accomplished. On a daily basis, the Administrative Assistant will have a number of routine tasks to be completed in addition to assigned tasks from the Area Director. This position requires a great deal of flexibility, efficiency, and organization.

The main duties of this position relate to maintaining accurate and detailed financial records and then communicating them to the Area Director. Additionally, updating and maintaining internal financial business databases for accurate and real-time review of administration is a key function of the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.  Must be capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form.  Demonstrate the ability to prioritize work and able to complete all assignments within the allotted time frames.  Great public relations skills in working with a variety of outside professional and state employees. The Administrative Assistant is expected to work  Monday-Friday. It is strongly preferred the Administrative Assistant to qualify to be a driver for the company but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Working with Corporate to ensure all employees are being paid accurately and within required time frames. Creates reports/spreadsheets.Completes audit reports for Corporate in a timely manner. Assists Financial Coordinator with duties as assigned.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with employees and clients Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer skillsDemonstrate professional phone etiquette and public relations when working with employees, outside professionals, state employees, and guardians Demonstrate excellent organizational skills Ability to work productively with minimal supervision Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Client history/informationFollow the Provider Code of Conduct according to DRC standards
