Job Summary:

The Relationship Manager will provide outstanding service to their clients, representing the Raymond James brand. A Relationship Manager should function in a responsible manner independently. As a key member of the team, your contributions are important to the success of the client relationships, and to the success of the Branch as a whole. The candidate is responsible for entering client trades, servicing client requests and processing trade instructions by phone, and ensuring client paperwork is up to date and accurate. The candidate must love to interact with clients. This is a supportive team environment which promotes personal career growth. Drawing on previous experience in a financial services firm, or upon a degree/diploma within Financial Management or Business Administration, you must have meticulous attention to detail, possess a positive attitude, and have exceptional interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must also be responsible, confident, self-motivated and a team player.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Foster and support client relationships by liaising with clients, responding to requests and proactively problem solving;

· Support clients’ general day-to-day administrative and trade requests in a timely and confidential manner;

· Be responsible for and support the team with paperwork, manage head office correspondence, and handle the account opening process for new clients;

· Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and in adherence with regulatory requirements;

· Support the branch’s growth of the overall business;

· Be responsible for all cash management within the team practice, including incoming and outgoing funds, purchases and redemptions of cash equivalents;

· Assist with all marketing initiatives including social media (X, LinkedIn), and website content;

· Enter trades as requested;

· Process and follow up on security transactions and transfers;

· Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients;

· Respond to requests for information;

· Be involved in preparing and reviewing daily reports, client correspondence and taking ownership of project work;

· Foster and support client relationships;

· Schedule appointments, meeting preparation and follow-up;

· Be willing to grow and take courses as required for regulatory purposes; and

· Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

· Company’s working structure, policies, mission, strategies, and compliance guidelines.


Skill in:

· Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.

· Preparing and delivering clear, effective, and professional presentations.

· Identifying the needs of customers through effective questioning and listening techniques.

· Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook;

· Verbal and written communication with a high level of professionalism;

· Organization with meticulous attention to detail;

· LinkedIn, Facebook X;

· Interpersonal communication and customer service; and

· Problem solving.


Ability to:

· Prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up;

· Work within deadlines in a high-volume, pressure-oriented environment;

· Manage multiple deadlines and tasks;

· Work independently with minimal direction;

· Work in a team environment and demonstrate a professional and friendly manner; and

· Display flexibility and willingness to assist others as required.


Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred, and a minimum of two (2) years working experience, including sales (preferably intangible) or business experience demonstrating achievement preferred.

· OR ~

· An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.


Licenses/Certifications:

· SIE

· Series 7 66

· Life, Health and Variable Annuity

· OR ~ Ability to pass all required licenses within allotted timeframe
