Financial Analysis Senior Associate

As a Financial Analysis Professional within the Human Resources team, you will be tasked with defining, refining, and achieving set financial goals for our firm. Your role will involve partnering with various departments across the firm to provide strategic financial analysis, oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, and coordinate these financial operations. As part of our Planning and Analysis (P&A) teams, you will be responsible for financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analyzing financial and business metrics, delivering regular management reports, developing new reporting capabilities, and advising line of business CFOs on strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Job responsibilities:

Serve as a liaison between Firm-wide P&A, lines of business, Functional Finance teams and other support teams in order to provide impactful reporting, planning and insightful analysesProduce presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management; participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as neededPerforming variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and presenting commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets. Helping design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior managementDevelop, consolidate and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis including annual budget, quarterly/monthly forecast variancesCreate, maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and ad-hoc)Conduct "deep dive" analyses on key issues impacting client to determine root cause and propose solutionsCollaborate with business partners across P&A, lines of business and the firm to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders: firm-wide, Functional Finance and lines of business teamsEnhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environmentBA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting 4+ years of relevant FP&A experienceSound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyThe ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts and maintain composure in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent organizational, management, and both verbal and written communication skillsStrong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skillsStrong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and EssbaseAbility to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendationsDetail oriented individual with the ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
