Financial Analyst, Corporate Functions

We are seeking a financial analyst who will report to the manager, finance, corporate FP&A, responsible for producing and enhancing financial reports, working on continuous improvement initiatives, and playing a crucial role in various special projects. As part of your role, you will contribute significantly to the growth of the organization. You will be at the forefront of reporting value-added financial information to the management team.  
 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 
 

Act as the support and resource person for all financial questions for the corporate vice-presidencies: budgetary process, financial forecasts, expense monitoring, and more.

Conduct monthly and quarterly analyses of your clients' overheads for the budget, financial forecasts, and actual results, and document any relevant variances.

Engage in various client projects as a financial advisor: business plans, special projects, and more.

Prepare ledger entries and account analyses under your responsibility (analysis of accruals, intra and inter-company allocations, etc.).

Perform applicable financial controls as per the situation (SOX, etc.).

Assist and support the team with various ad-hoc tasks.  

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
 

Advanced expertise in accounting (CPA required).

A sense of autonomy (scheduling, meeting deadlines, planning, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of systems: SAP (S4 and ECC), TM1, Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

An analytical mindset.

Meticulousness.

Ease in making presentations to an audience (including members of the executive committee).

Relevant experience of 3 to 5 years (intermediate level) in a similar role.
