Job Description

NBC Universal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.  We develop, produce and market entertainment, news and information to a global market.  Universal Pictures International is the international film division of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, operating across 80+ territories.

The UPI Finance team plays a key role in supporting the UPI Senior Management Team.  It oversees a complex, multinational network of owned operating companies, licensees and JV’s.  The team will partner closely with other HQ functions, all UPI operating companies and corporate groups based in London, Amsterdam and across the World.

Essential Responsibilities:

Report to UPI Finance Sr. Manager on FP&A teamSupport Universal Pictures International (UPI) FP&A team in preparation and analysis of P&L & Cash Flow updatesAssist monthly / quarterly close processes including system reconciliations and marketing accrualsAssist monthly pacing including calculating and loading of “ancillary” P&L items into internal finance systemSupport updating of title international territory release dates into internal finance systemPrepare and consolidate territory cash flow pacing submissions and model updatesAssist in preparing management reports / dashboards to summarize financials and analysis for finance leadershipUpdate internal monthly finance calendars for monthly / quarterly closesCollaborate with controllership and finance teams to ensure coordinated processes / timely reportingSupport title master data set-up and management in sub-systems

QualificationsBS/BA degree in finance, accounting, economics or related fieldAdvanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and advanced spreadsheets

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
