Financial Analyst, Plant Finance

Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Finance Lead, you will perform moderately complex analysis for assigned financial area, identify and investigate issues related to assigned projects, and present recommendations to management. May perform business partnering, analytical analysis, business planning, monthly forecasting, metrics & scorecard development, and/or Period close.

Position Responsibilities

Lead weekly yield loss reporting process including completing inventory adjustments, trending yield performance and investigating large losses.Complete weekly labor report including variance analysisOwn the monthly forecast for Maintenance Spend and lead weekly meetings with MRO buyers to track spend to forecastLead weekly finance meeting to review results with operations & leadershipResponsible for analyzing monthly overhead spend by department and communicating changes to partners by providing specific, applicable and forward-looking commentary on the changes and guidance on potential riskAssist in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan for yield and overhead accountsLead the development of metrics, scorecards and reporting for assigned department.Participate in month-end/quarter-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks and journal entries, including explanation of variances to plan.Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for requests depending on the assigned department (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing, etc.).Active involvement and participation in plant continuous improvement and CPS activities

Position Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; 1-2 years of profession accounting of financial experienceKnowledge of financial systems and general accounting conceptsStrong cross functional partnership ability across the organizationProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), with heavy emphasis on excel pivot tablesExperience with SAP or other software tools preferredAt this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship either now or in the future.
