Act as a technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns, and special projects. Interface with management, responding to their request for financial data and resolve report and compliance issues. Prepare reports and financial studies that are measured against baselines. Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation. Conduct financial audits. Track and assist with maintaining client budget to capture funding status on current projects, conduct analyses on historical financial data and forecast future spending, present summarized analytical results using graphs and charts to depict vendor current progress and forecasted performance, and brief program execution status at client meetings. Assist with the installation of budgetary control systems and use a computer to input, retrieve, and display budget information. Gather and interpret financial data, offer recommendations, and report to management. Assist with managing budget deadlines. Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day management of one functional area. Highlight potential issues and recommend mitigation strategies to client leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with financial analysis
Experience in assisting with the federal budget process and the DoD planning, programming, and budgeting system (PPBS)
Experience with federal accounting systems and their applications
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
Ability to assist with consolidating various mission fiscal requirements into integrated programs and budget packages
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office tools
CDFM Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
