Financial Analyst – Nashua Woodmead
Purpose:

Responsible for analyzing financial statements and predicting the future performance of the Nashua franchisor and franchises.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Franchise Financial Analysis Compile annual schedule/timelines of franchise reviews Compile template of analysis which will be used to review each franchise to report on the results per franchise Review franchise results in detail including income statement, cash flow and balance sheet Review various other reports of franchises to identify areas for review and improvement Identify any other reports that will add value to the process of review Compare results of review between franchises and compared to predetermined benchmarks to identify areas for improvement Identify areas of improvement related to excessive costs and potential revenue leakage Meet with franchise holders and franchise financial managers to review and ask relevant questions during Business Reviews Calculate relevant ratios and ensure capital allocations and funding is appropriate Review financial controls of franchises to identify risk areas Franchise agreements Understanding of all franchise agreements to ensure compliance Understanding of all shareholder agreements to ensure compliance Ensure franchises meet contractual obligations in terms of the franchise agreement and shareholders agreements Manage annual franchise compliance declarations process Review compliance of franchises with franchise agreement Strategy Analyze data in order to identify opportunities for improvement Strategic planning and financial analysis Reporting Compile monthly analysis reports for presentation to Exco General The role will require ad hoc travelling to franchises throughout SADC Any other duties as requested by Exco from time to time. Key Competencies: Deadline driven Takes responsibility Able to manage time effectively Excellent communication and presentation skills Able to work individually and within a team Ability to multi-task Analytical thinking and questioning mind Strong business acumen with commercial experience Self-starter who is willing to go the extra mile Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role, CA (SA), CIMA, CFA or similar qualification preferred Advanced Excel skills Other Assignments:
