The Financial Analyst 5 role in Siemens Healthineers Point-of-Care (POC) Business Performance Controlling (BPC) Team will play a key part in achieving our BPC mission: “To be THE partner of choice for all our stakeholders by delivering world-class controlling outcomes.” The BPC team is responsible for driving, executing, and assessing the effectiveness of planning, analysis, and reporting activities within the business line.

By leveraging data-driven analytics, this position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely insights, including the explanation and presentation of monthly actual results, full-year forecast projections, and annual budget submissions. Success in this role requires a strong capability to consolidate and analyze data, as well as the ability to effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences, ranging from business operations partners to managers.Creating monthly transparency on performance and target achievement through comprehensive reporting and analysis of resultsUnderstanding the key drivers that impact the business performance and translating these into high level messages to the CEO & CFOIndependently coordinating and consolidating POC messaging to both POC and Siemens Healthineers senior management through monthly/quarterly reporting dashboards and presentations; work side-by-side with finance colleagues in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Service and Research and Development (R&D) to ensure data accuracy, messaging alignment and timeliness of deliverables are continuously maintainedFunctioning as Controller for Global P&L; independently providing transparency and understanding of the drivers for developments within the business; gathering and evaluating activities that are impacting forecasts, independently providing thorough explanations for variances and working with managers to align and achieve their individual targetsSupporting the monthly forecast process by owning various reports that contribute directly or indirectly towards the creation of the major financial statements & KPIs (P&L, Asset & Free Cash Flow, FTE)Providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting in support of BPC’s relationship as business partner to the functions and the CFO/CEO; contributing to one-off special projects requested by CFO/CEO or central Siemens Healthineers requestsSupporting transformation towards digitalization of finance processes and reporting

Experience and requirements for success in this role:

Systems skills with SAP, SAP BW AfO, Excel and PowerPoint capabilitiesKnowledge of and affinity for digitalization such as new reporting and visualization tools (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI or similar)Ability to distill business processes and results into actionable information for senior leadership, good presentation skillsAbility to analyze and organize with quality in mindArranging and balancing activities to comply with various tasks and due datesExcellent communication/networking skills, result/quality orientation, and a pro-active attitudeExcellent team playerBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting10+ years of accounting and/or controlling experienceExperience in the in-vitro diagnostics business is a plusExperience in a Performance Controlling environment is a plus

The base pay range for this position is

Min $124,400 - Max $186,600

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
