Job Summary:

Responsible for funding of all globally contracted telecom and data center production contracts. Funding Analyst responsibilities include creation of the pre-requisition analysis based on detailed review of the contract ensuring that all services are appropriately funded according to client processes, terms, and contracted rates; initiating the requisition in Oracle; monitoring approval of the requisition through creation of the purchase order; notifying vendors of purchase order number; and updating contract with funding information.  Additionally, the analyst is responsible for providing proactive reporting to the Account Management team to ensure existing POs are appropriately funded using historical trends. The analyst plays a key role in ensuring that our client group brings high value to the business stakeholders at the highest level of accuracy.

Responibilities:
Ensure all contracted services are included in the purchase requisition following established processes Manage requisition from inception through the creation of the PO, escalating approvals as required within established service level agreements Key interface with client Accounts Payable & Finance groups to ensure the team is compliant with all client policies Manage data integrity of funding data within TEM’s database Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data quality throughout the process Manage vendor and internal relationships to ensure new suppliers are enrolled on a timely basis Communicate with negotiators, project managers, Legal, and Finance to ensure adherence to contracted commercial terms

Requirements/Desired Skills

A bachelor's degree (Finance/Accounting/other business discipline preferred) 2 years experience with  payment systems in large multinational companies including Accounts Payable operations, invoicing procedures, payment terms and accounting techniques (Oracle Financials and/or SAP preferred) Experience with managing purchase order process Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Experience interacting with multiple levels within a company Able to work successfully both individually as well as to contribute as a team player Advanced level spreadsheets and basic data analytics a must Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills Attention to detail and a sense of urgency Ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis An understanding of technical concepts related to data center operations and/or network backbone operations preferred Telecom and data center experience required Self starter with ability to accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion
