TCC is looking to expand its Corporate FP&A team; we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the team in our Irving office. You will be a part of the vital and core team at TCC that works daily to support our executive team, senior operations/field leaders, and manage P&L processes.


You will need basic modeling, analysis, and communication skills to work closely with Senior Operations and HR leaders to help them make informed and data-driven decisions. At TCC, you will have an opportunity to get ready for the Corporate FP&A of the future. TCC supports a growth and learning environment. While here you will get to work with and get trained on end-to-end Workday suite, Adaptive Insights, and machine learning-based demand planning models.

Responsibilities

How You will make an Impact

Maintain and enhance the financial reporting processManage Revenue Streams, Store Labor scheduling, budgeting and forecasting, OpEx budgeting, and forecasting, and help with month-end close Manage Cube and Sheet models in Adaptive Insights planning to budget and forecast revenue streams for 500 stores with 50 revenue streams each, on daily time granularity Perform analysis of findings/trends using statistical analysis, modeling, process documentation, profitability analysis, etc. Prepare consistent and meaningful variance analysis by working with senior department managers and executives Generate innovative and dynamic ideas that actively contribute to a culture of continuous process improvementInfluence key stakeholders to improve planning efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, or a similar fieldMinimum 2 years of in finance, consulting, or analytics, or equivalent education and experienceAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to present data in a logical, concise mannerExcellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple levels of managementStrong financial acumen including experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisAbility to multitask and a strong work ethic based on a desire to exceed expectationsAbility to create and manage complex modelsDetail-oriented and data-driven, with a sharp focus on quality

 

 

Additional Information

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Business, or a similar field Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles including financial statementsDetail-oriented and data-driven, with a sharp focus on quality. Must be able to work with big dataStrong financial acumen including experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to present data in a logical, concise mannerExcellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple levels of managementAbility to multitask and a strong work ethic based on a desire to exceed expectationsAbility to create and manage complex modelsA zeal to learn and a ‘Get it Done’ attitude 

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of experience in finance, consulting, or analytics, or equivalent education and experiencePrior knowledge of Adaptive Insights or Workday system Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPointPrior experience with demand planning toolsTechnical proficiencies: SQL, Power BI, R, statistics
