At the Eaton Hengelo location, part of Eaton's EMEA Electrical Systems & Services (ESS) Business Unit, Critical Systems Division, there is a vacancy for a Financial Analyst. What you’ll do:

The Financial Analyst in Hengelo, together with the local Financial Controlling team, is responsible for the business profit plan and local ledger. Furthermore, the Financial Analyst supports in cost control versus budget, KPI monitoring, CAPEX (capital expenditures) control and forecasting. In addition, you will perform the following tasks:


•    Preparing analysis for Operations Management Team / Senior leadership on financial implications of operating strategies, cost control actions and decisions;
•    Pro-active business partnering with  the Research & Development team in Hengelo. Ensuring right decision making for our (future) growth plans;
•    Monitoring and reporting purchase commitments and spending for all capital programs;
•    Managing handover of local transactional process and financial accounting processes to country accounting team. 
•    Monitoring and maintaining a system of internal controls that safeguards company assets and provides for integrity and propriety of financial transactions and activities. 
 

Knowledge and skills:

For this position we are looking for someone with a Diploma in Bachelor in Business Economics or  equivalent education with minimum of 3 years of work experience in a Finance/Controlling environment. Skills required: 


•    Ability to analyze, interpret and present financial information that demonstrates structured thinking and good problem solving skills;
•    Effective communicator, both verbal and in writing. A person that can connect with people at all levels of the organization including production environment;
•    Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerBI & PowerPoint;
•    Fluent in Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
