Looking for a number-crunching maestro! TalentWorld is on the hunt for a Financial Analyst for our client in Guelph.

As the Financial Analyst, you'll be the hero behind accurate and timely month-end reporting and ad hoc analysis, all while providing top-notch support to the Director of Finance with daily and month-end accounting tasks. Our ideal candidate boasts a solid manufacturing background and has extensive experience in bill of materials and inventory management. Financial Analyst Responsibilities

Preparation of month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple companies

Review and update standards costs and the bill of materials

Investigate root cause of cycle count adjustments

Perform monthly and year-to-date variance analysis (Actual vs Prior Year; Actual vs Budget)

Preparation of the month end dashboard

Complete daily indicators

Financial Analyst Qualifications

Post-second Proven working experience as a financial analyst; finance professional 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance management experience Working towards or having a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA) Must have 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment  Must have experience with Bill of Materials and Inventory Management.

Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
