The Financial Analyst, Expense Allocation is a member of the Expense Allocation team within the Finance organization supporting the entire Enterprise. In this highly visible role you will have the opportunity to help develop the long-term strategic plans for allocation methodologies; drive efforts to improve efficiency and productivity of allocating over $120M in expense each month; and partner with senior leaders to identify, evaluate, prioritize and deliver strategic initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst include:

Perform monthly analyses of expense drivers and work with Finance reps to update allocation inputs.Review and perform reconciliation of expenses to ensure allocations are complete and valid.Analyze and provide expense analysis across all reporting legal entities.Maintain adequate SOX 404 documentation for performed functions.Maintain system requirements for allocation drivers and rules.Perform basic project management tasks on projects throughout the organization.Supports special project requests

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $90,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accounting5 years of related work experience

Managing Expenses and Finances: Knowledge of the principle and methodology of finance management; ability to use the functions, tools and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization.
