Overview Provides review and analysis of Cherokee Nation and business entities’ financial statements, operational analysis of investment projects, and provides overall support to the Financial Resources Management in oversight responsibilities. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or related field; no substitutions. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT At least four (4) years of experience in a related field. COMPUTER SKILLS An individual should know Accounting software, Database software, Internet software, Project Management software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to working near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
