The Opportunity

 

As a Finance Business Partner you will partner with business operations leaders in the Gulf Coast to design and prepare various financial and budget analyses in the areas of profit planning, capital expenditures, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting.

 

This is a Hybrid position based in our Saraland, AL office. 

Key Job Responsibilities Budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business budgets and accurate forecasts that align with company goals Financial Analysis:  Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business performance including trends by analyzing current and historical data as well as current financial statements Identify, define, and assess key performance indicators that would assist in management decision making on areas for improvement or concern Standard costs definition and calculation Reporting:  Actively participate in month end closing accounting and analysis Prepare meaningful monthly reporting for upper management, define dashboards and key indicators according to business conditions Financial modeling: Create financial models to evaluate and assess potential scenarios for business improvement or cost reduction Deviation analysis: Monthly analysis of actual financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year; develop strong working relationships with operations and accounting teams in order to provide meaningful explanations for variances and suggest corrective actions  Investment analysis: Prepare and analyze operation capital investments working with engineering, sales, and operations managers
  Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required Master’s degree a plus 8-10 years relevant financial analysis experience; manufacturing experience a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience required SAP/PowerBI experience a plus Self-starter willing to learn the business to provide valuable analysis of all aspects of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement including elements of gross margin and operating expenses Critical thinker with a desire to learn new things, correct root cause issues, and improve processes Why Tradebe is Right for You!
