Financial Analyst
Description Patricia Wesson with Robert Half is searching for a Financial Analyst in the Education industry, located in FAIRVIEW, Oregon, 97024-9642, United States. The role involves analyzing the activities and operations of accounting and reporting systems within the Financial Services Department. This role will support special projects, provide financial reporting, and coordinate technical support for financial systems. Responsibilities: • Analyze and report on general ledger, grants, and other funds, and student activities. • Support the development of the annual budget and long-range financial plans and projections. • Monitor financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards as well as pertinent laws, policies, and procedures. • Generate budget reports for administration, providing staff with assistance on accounts and balances. • Prepare complex fiscal analysis and management reports on the District's fiscal condition. • Support preparation of the District’s annual budget and long-range financial plans and projections. • Manage billing, fee collection, and preparation of grant financial reports. • Support training for district staff in financial systems, procedures, budgets, and fund management. • Provide technical support for user setup and configuration for financial software. • Provide financial analysis and support for special projects as assigned. Job Order: 03600-0013095720 Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for accurate financial data management and analysis. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services will be beneficial in managing and streamlining financial processes. • Familiarity with CRM systems is necessary for effective client relationship management. • Knowledge of Crystal Reports will be essential for creating dynamic business reports. • Understanding of Data Mining Techniques will be advantageous in extracting valuable financial insights. • The candidate should be able to perform Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently. • Experience in Accrual Accounting is required for managing and recording financial transactions. • Auditing skills are necessary to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. • Familiarity with Budget Processes is required for effective financial planning and control. • Understanding of Capital Management is necessary for optimizing the organization's financial resources. • Proficiency in Financial Reporting is required for presenting the organization's financial status in a clear and concise manner.
