Financial Analyst
Description We are in the process of recruiting a Financial Analyst to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing the daily operations of our financial reporting and creating reports that are regularly evaluated for reliability. This role requires strong technical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. Responsibilities: • Support the flash and executive leadership reporting package process including all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. • Collaborate closely with Financial Planning & Analysis teams to explain variances to Plan for management discussion and analysis of monthly financial results. • Prepare lender and other external stakeholders reporting within the contractual timeline. • Conduct financial covenant calculations within the contractual timeline and respond to questions from management on debt covenant, Adjusted EBITDA, and other ad hoc inquiries. • Maintain Financial Reporting models for changes in General Ledger accounts and Essbase hierarchy, and changes in Plan/Forecast and reporting year. • Prepare work papers for third-party valuations. • Support audit requests and inquiries related to all external reports. • Assist with drafting the annual financial statement and 401k work papers. • Utilize skills in General Ledger, Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Planning Essbase, Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, Financial Analysis, Complex Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, and Financial reporting standards. • Carry out other duties or responsibilities as assigned. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role. • Proficiency in General Ledger operations is necessary. • Skills in using Essbase and Oracle Hyperion Essbase are required. • Experience in Planning Essbase is a prerequisite for this role. • Demonstrated ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial Analysis. • Proficiency in Financial Analysis and Complex Financial Analysis is essential. • Experience in Financial Reporting and understanding of Financial Reporting Standards. • Expertise in Hyperion Financial Reporting is a must. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Must possess strong attention to detail and demonstrate high accuracy in work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
