PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for the financial analysis of sales and production data including profitability analysis providing analytical support to cross-functional groups to evaluate new sales opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:       

Conduct analysis of production and sales financial data, calculate SKU, customer and business segment profitability and identify price, volume and mix impactsAnalyze financial results and complete variance analysis to forecast and planProvide pro forma analysis to support new business proposals and evaluationsGather prepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports to track financial status; share relevant data with all parties to achieve a thorough understanding of all factors related to business analysisProvide support and assist in development of annual operating planUnderstand, analyze and make recommendations on financial performance as compared toindustry benchmarksDevelop, maintain and distribute ad hoc analysis and financial models as requestedPartner with cross-functional teams to verify internal and external data to support 100% accuracy of data an analysisPerform additional relevant duties as assigned

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role may supervise 1 or 2 employeesThis role is a Leader of People role with required competencies:  Sizing up People, Delegation, Planning, Customer Focus and Conflict Management

EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related discipline from an accredited institution

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Minimum one (1) years’ relevant experience in manufacturing cost methodologies; 3+ years financial analysis or accounting experience preferredStrong customer focus with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a timely and professional mannerMust have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) applicationsSelf-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast paced environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detailMust possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency
