How you’ll make an impact:
Provide oversight over the budget for Facilities Operations, Physical Security, Audio-Visual, Real Estate & Capital Construction groups under the Corporate Facilities umbrellaPartner with internal stakeholders & project managers for preparation and submittal of purchase requisitions, supplier quotes, and statements of work; ensure these expenditures are tracked, managed and within budget & forecasts objectivesTrack purchase requisition and SOW expenditure to monthly & quarterly targets; perform meaningful month-end variance analyses and forecasts to communicate with leadershipCollaborate with Corporate Accounts Payable and Corporate Finance groups on month-end close & monthly expense accrual journal entry preparation to ensure timely and accurate reportingMaintain current operations budget model and track real-time actual spend for the department; find efficiencies within systems to optimize budget modelling accuracyPerform detailed analysis comparing year-to-date financials to annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts inclusive of spending, department headcount and capital expenditure targetsDevelop financial reports and presentations to support organizational decision makingProactively communicate with suppliers, external accounts receivable, municipal offices & utilities agencies to ensure billing is current and avoid disruption of servicesTrack monthly Irvine campus utilities usage (electricity, natural gas, water) and provide cost evaluations; adjust forecast for seasonality and rate increasesProvide meaningful analysis to leadership, highlighting monthly and year-over-year trends; communicate risk and anticipate impacts to the budgetCollaborate with internal Procurement, Contracts, Risk Management, and Due Diligence groups for onboarding new suppliers, master services agreements and MSA renewalsDevelop tools to manage department’s active supplier contracts list; ensure internal stakeholders are made aware about upcoming expirationsWhat you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field;A minimum of 3 years of previous related work experienceStrong background with Expense Tracking, Forecasting, Budget Modeling, FP&A planning, & Accounting experienceWhat else we look for (Preferred):

For California, the base pay range for this position is $65,000 to $92,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
