Financial Analyst
Description: • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budget, income statement forecasts, etc.) considering company’s goals and financial standing • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis to support organizational decision making • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. • Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management. • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts • Develop and maintain cash forecast model • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function • Protects company by keeping financial information confidential. • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems. Skills: + Financial forecasting + Financial reporting + Vista ERP + Financial planning and analysis + Advanced Microsoft excel skills Additional Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience. • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Vista, preferred but not required. • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. • Ability to identify data patterns • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
