Job Summary

This position will be working with finance, operational, and clinical leaders in the Corewell Health West Hospitals, Corewell Health West Medical Group, and the Helen Devos Children’s Hospital and pediatric practices.

Essential FunctionsCollects and analyzes financial and utilization information to support the department.Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.Assists on business issues including financial and profitability analysis.  Develops solutions to problems which require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.Collaborates with assigned areas of the organization and/or senior level analysts or leadership to analyze financial data.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelors degree in Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field or equivalent experience1 year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related work

Preferred

Masters degreeCertified Public Accountant (CPA) - State of Michigan
