Job Description

The Financial Analyst supports the Accounts Payable function within the Universal Pictures Theatrical finance team this role works closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing Finance to handle the day-to-day operations which include but not limited to; accounts payable, purchase card reconciliation and preparation and analysis of marketing and distribution expenses. The position involves close interaction with the Universal Pictures Global marketing, publicity and distribution teams, and the qualified candidate will have the ability to work with all levels of finance and non-finance staff.

Essential Responsibilities:

·  Provide AP invoice/SAP support for the marketing and distribution departments

·  Process domestic and international wires and immediate payments

·  Create purchase orders when applicable

·  Responsibilities to review, adjust and approve time cards for select staff

·  Assist with the close process

·  Run monthly purchase order aging reports for accurate and timely reporting

·  Creation of new film projects in SAP

·  Training end-users on SAP, SNAP (internal AP system), SIM (internal vender registration system)

·  Create and maintain domestic and foreign venders

·  Provide P-Card support for finance and select individuals within marketing by reviewing, reconciling and approving credit card transactions

·  Support with internal/external audits

·  Assist in the preparation of the weekly marketing flash report

·  Prepare and post marketing and distribution journal entries

·  Prepare and analyze cost reports and data compilation

·  Assist with ad hoc analyses

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years’ experience within finance or AP related roleProficient in Microsoft Excel, preferable experience with SAP

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferredOutstanding interpersonal skills, team ethic, and the ability to interact with all levels of managementAbility to multi-task and prioritize work assignments and work well under pressureMust be accurate, highly organized with great attention to detailStrong analytics and problem-solving skills

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
