The Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analyses, preparing financial reporting packages related to labor, building detailed budget information related to labor, and updating strategic forecasts to support effective decision-making. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong financial modeling skills and a deep understanding of accounting and financial principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial analysis, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. WAG Values Leads with respect, integrity, and accountability Treats others with empathy and respect Exemplifies and role models behavior associated with WAG values Partners with team to focus on solutions Finds a way to say yes Role Specific Tasks Prepare annual hospital budget information related to doctor labor Conduct budget to actual variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to doctor labor Monitor key doctor financial metrics and performance indicators and report relevant findings to seniors Perform monthly budget-variance analysis for doctor productivity and compensation Ensure the accuracy of doctor information and databases to ensure accurate reporting Create a rolling doctor forecast leveraging multiple data sources and communicate results Design and build doctor models for medical leaders to use in hiring and renewal decisions Develop workflows and automated processes to streamline processes that are currently manual Assist finance, operations, and medical teams with the annual budgeting process Make recommendations on multi-year compensation structures Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Benefits Work with an organization recognized as #1 in Healthcare by Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in 2024.
