This position is responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday - Friday. The position is primarily day shift, however, start times may vary based on the needs of the company. Additional flexibility due to additional days/hours during peak periods is required.
Essential Functions:

+ Analyze financial performance by collecting, monitoring, and studying data, and prepare insightful reports to identify trends and variances.
+ Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
+ Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
+ Support strategic planning efforts by delivering financial insights and performance metrics.
+ Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to company objectives.
+ Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
+ Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and economic factors impacting the company’s operations.
+ Generate regular reports to communicate findings to management and recommend corrective actions or process improvement.
+ Monitors budget and productivity and analyzes variances. Conducts research to ensure accuracy in the records, and provides data as needed for corrections/improvement.
+ Additional duties/tasks as assigned or required by Management.
Work Environment:
This position operates in an office environment with limited exposure to a warehouse that may/may not be temperature controlled. Temperatures in the warehouse setting may range as low as 36 degrees. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and read. This position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. Positions in this job family typically work in an office setting but may be assigned more physical duties such as transporting office supplies and equipment and bending and stooping to file. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel:
This position may require occasional travel to offsite meetings.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
+ 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or forecasting
+ Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Additional computer skills with experience using Microsoft Products.
+ Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP or IFRS).
+ Ability to successfully manage within deadlines.
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to form and maintain good relationships both internally and externally.
+ Impeccable attention to detail with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely work
+ Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
