Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re a Financial Analyst, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  This position reports to a leader within the finance organization. Responsibilities include performing financial analysis and business support in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and business needs. This position requires minimum supervision.

What You Will Be Doing

Analyze financial information - historical, prospective or hypothetical - to provide insights for the business regarding its performance, support business decisions, and plans for the futurePartner and communicate with stakeholders to gain understanding of their needs and to convey and interpret the results of financial analysisPrepare formal financial presentation material that is to be delivered by finance and other leaders of the businessDevelop and maintain financial models used for decision support, such as those used in the product life cycle process, capital expenditure justifications, and make vs. buy decisionsIdentify continuous improvement opportunities and actively participate in lean improvement and six sigma projectsRepresent the broader interests of the finance team by maintaining a general understanding of financial accounting, income taxes, treasury, and internal audit and driving appropriate consultation within and beyond financeRead and understand engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOM), and have a good understanding of manufacturing processes.Compile and analyze multiple sources of data to identify relevant information and determine the best course of action.

What We Are Looking For 

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences in Accounting, Finance or Economics required2-5 years Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience with cost analysis for proposals requiring Cost or Pricing Data (COPD) preferredFamiliarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 preferredDemonstrates commitment to quality and awareness of continuous improvement principles through lean and six sigma toolsProficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel. General knowledge and comfort working with ERP systems.Applies sound logic to problem solving, conveying an understanding of the business, the markets in which we operate, and general economic principlesAbility to pay attention to detailsGood written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Is tactful in relationships with othersAbility to understand and execute planning and forecasting processesStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlinesWorking knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial toolsInternational Locations: Ability to effectively communicate in EnglishBuilds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as across domestic and international functions and organizationsStrong team contributor. Demonstrates the ability to get along well with others
