In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for delivering precise month-end reports, performing insightful ad hoc analyses, and supporting the Director of Finance with critical daily and monthly accounting functions. Your expertise in manufacturing processes, bill of materials, and inventory management will be essential for success.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities

Preparation of month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple companies.

Review and update standard costs and the bill of materials.

Investigate root cause of cycle count adjustments.

Perform monthly and year-to-date variance analysis (Actual vs Prior Year; Actual vs Budget).

Preparation of the month end dashboard.

Complete daily indicators.

Financial Analyst Qualifications

Proven working experience as a financial analyst. 3-5 years of overall combined accounting and finance management experience. Working towards or having a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA). Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment.  Must have experience with Bill of Materials and Inventory Management. Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
