Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Financial Analyst to support our Supply Chain Finance team! The Financial Analyst is responsible for the key reporting and review of transportation freight financials. The Analyst will work closely with Operations and Supply Chain Finance leaders to provide actionable insights from data analysis to drive achievement of Supply Chain goals.

Responsibilities Conduct in-depth meaningful, actionable, and timely analysis to inform Supply Chain leaders of trends and exceptions, with limited guidance from leadershipAreas of review include returns, damages, store to store, stock locator, etc.Prepare and maintain timely and accurate monthly forecasting for freightPrepare annual operating expense budget for freight in partnership with SC Finance leadership. Be able to explain key variances in YoY dollar and %sIdentify opportunities to control and reduce expenses within Supply Chain and provide recommendations for improvementPrepare and review various financial analyses to determine profitability and impact on the segmentAnalytics include month end budget/LY comparisons, Variable Cost per Unit (VCPU), and volume driven impactsOversee financial analyst to ensure all daily and month end tasks/ reports are completed accurately and on timeReview, streamline, and standardize financial reports across the Supply Chain finance organization; eliminate redundancy and create efficiencies where possiblePrepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytics in accordance with GAAPAlign with key priorities of the business and recommend actions (through analyzing and interpreting data and conducting comparative analysis) that can achieve company goalsPro-actively work to identify and solve problems and improve processesMaintain appropriate internal control documentation, as applicable, and adhere to formally documented control procedures to ensure on-going compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and to prevent any audit exceptionsProvide support to management, as needed, on special projects and requests Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.A.) with a major in finance/accounting or related field from an accredited college or universityMinimum of one year of related experience preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and WordExperience with Power BI is a plus

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $60000 - 65000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
