Financial Analyst

If you are a Financial Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, we are seeking a motivated individual to perform financial analysis activities associated with the Emerson financial planning cycle and the reporting of financial metrics to senior leadership. You will participate as a key member of the Global headquarters Finance department of the Measurement & Analytical business unit, a multi-billion-dollar business unit part of the Measurement Solutions business platform within Emerson.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Acting as a liaison with Measurement & Analytical and Measurement Solutions leadership team for communication and reporting.  Assisting with the monthly, quarterly, and annual updates to the Measurement & Analytical Financial Planning Cycle which consists of monthly Financial Statements reporting, quarterly POR submission, annual forecast creation, and financial support for board meetings, strategy reviews, profit and financial reviews among others.  Consolidating world areas quarterly and annually supplemental reporting required by Emerson. Driving and implement automation opportunities in our regular financial reporting procedures.  Collaborating with other functional areas within the organization during preparation/analysis of financial information. Creating, analyzing, and reviewing ad-hoc management inquires of key financial metrics for decision support for senior leadership as requested.  Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree Minimum of two (2) years of related experience Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Experience with Oracle / Hyperion Financial Management  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
