We at Chewy seek a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Financial Analyst to join our growing Pharmacy Vet Services team! This candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy Pharmacy's growth, and achieve financial objectives. As a Financial Analyst, you will be located at the Vet Services center, working with the leadership team on-site to improve performance and meet or exceed financial commitments.
What You'll Do:
Lead the planning process for variable labor within the Vet Services center, ensuring Chewy can exceed customer expectations at the lowest possible costAided in the business's reporting and financial performance management frameworks and helped define metrics and indicators to evaluate overall business performance.Participate in the ongoing management of the business and influence decision-making through proven relationships built with your cross-functional business partnersActively participate in the target setting and annual/quarterly planning processes.Oversee the FC’s monthly close process, ensuring books and records are accurately maintained following Chewy’s policies and proceduresPursue continuous improvement in all areas of the business with an emphasis on Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, and FinanceHandle numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment!What You'll Need:
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or Economics.0-1 year relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and a grasp of financial statements.Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.Sophisticated Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint skills.Experience with SQL coding, Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, and Oracle ERP is a plus.Ability to think creatively, work independently and as part of a team to address problems given limited resources and time, have a strong work ethic and make sure to meet deadlines.Able to adapt to ambiguity and changing priorities.Strong written and oral communication skills.Chewy is committed to equal opportunity.
