Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in New York, New York, 10022, United States. As a Financial Analyst, your main function will be to review property financials, ensuring their accuracy, and preparing them for distribution. Notably, this role is not for a Real Estate analyst but is more suited to someone with a background in Property Management.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze property financials to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare financials for distribution, ensuring they meet industry standards.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, using your expertise to provide accurate and timely information.
• Maintain accurate records of property accounts, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correct.
• Handle budgets and forecasts for entities, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Use your knowledge of Property Accounting to ensure all financial operations run smoothly.
• Apply your skills in Budgeting - Forecasting to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
• Use your expertise in Real Estate - Condominium to provide valuable insights and recommendations. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role within the Real Estate & Property sector.
• Proven expertise in property accounting, with a strong understanding of related principles and practices.
• Demonstrable experience with budgeting and forecasting, preferably within the real estate industry.
• Solid knowledge of real estate, particularly in the context of condominiums.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with other financial analysis software.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Detail-oriented certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High ethical standards and integrity in conduct.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
