What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a new team member to support our clients’ annual budget process and acquisitions requirements. In this role, the individual will be responsible for supporting our clients as they complete their annual budgetary requirements while identifying and implementing new methods to optimize their budgetary and acquisitions processes. At the same time, the individual in this role will need to work closely with our technical development team to enhance the financial system through which budget planning and execution processes are completed. As such, this individual will need to work closely with clients to learn their budgetary and acquisitions requirements and then translate those requirements into new or updated features alongside the technical development team. This is a great opportunity to make immediate impacts for a large federal organization that serves a critical role in protecting our nation’s public health.  Ideal candidates will have some prior experience with Federal budgetary processes and experience working with software developers to build solutions for budgetary stakeholders. Candidates will also need to be able to work effectively with a wide range of federal stakeholders and will need to be able to keep our federal partners on track to complete deliverables on time and in a manner that meets project objectives.

What You Will Need:

1-3 years of professional experienceBachelor's degreeThe ability to obtain a public trust clearanceAbility to contribute to the implementation of new systems and processes, including planning, training, evaluation and documenting of outcomesAbility to leverage written and oral communication skills to produce client-ready deliverablesAbility to communicate process and business implications of technically complex products and services through multiple modern mediumsComfort publicly speaking (in-person and digitally) and leading training for large groups of stakeholdersActively participates in client-facing discussions and meetings and cultivates trust and business relationships with a broad group of client SMEsAble to proactively identify and assesses risks as well as suggest mitigation strategiesAble to support the development of budgets, project plans, operational and risk assessments, and organizational structures that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government agenciesAbility to work independently but with oversight from management
