Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Financial Analyst in support of our industry leading technology development client in Houston, TX. Our client is seeking candidates who are driven to make positive changes to the way people live and work by creating breakthrough technology solutions. Responsibilities: * The Financial Analyst provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for the divested business unit exercising a strong understanding of the business * Consults with M&A, Controllership finance teams to take correct actions on the P&L * Analyses P&L and Balance Sheet * Works closely with Buyer company finance team to perform extensive reconciliations of revenues, costs as well as Balance Sheet items such as Accrued Liabilities, Unbilled Accounts Receivables, Prepaid Expenses, etc. * Analyses sub-ledger (COMPASS, SAP O&C) services projects are closed appropriately by Buyer Finance teams * Prepares monthly summaries of P&L and Balance Sheet balances at worldwide level * Prepares and books manual JE's in General Ledger * The Financial Analyst identifies opportunities for process improvement * Represents finance of the divested business unit * Performs adhoc financial analysis
