General Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst responsabilities are:

• Prepare the Company's external reports filed with the SEC on Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K.
• Research new rules and regulations that may apply to the Company and add the necessary disclosures accordingly; review of disclosures prepared by analysts; ensure that all comments provided by external and internal counsel, external auditors, other managers within the division, and top management are addressed.
• Prepare filing and file with the SEC through the external application.
• Ensure execution of all key controls including but not limited to SOX controls for roles as per assigned roles within established procedures and approved delegation of authority and authorized limits.
• Responds to and reviews all escalations or deviations that may be brought to his or her attention.
• Reports any exceptions to established internal controls and documents any employee.
• Prepares monthly earnings per share dilution report and monthly share-based compensation journal entry.
• Prepares monthly intercompany transaction reports, assists the manager in monthly analysis and posting of intercompany journal entries and transactions, and assists in annual calculation of management fees.
• Prepares consolidated monthly statements of cash flows and non-cash asset purchases reports.
 

 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

 

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Administration from four-year college or university
Minimum of two years related experience
 

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

Knows how to identify relevant resources, conduct research, observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all them. Assesses information and possible results. Demonstrates attention to detail; applies general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense (deductive reasoning); synthesizes and combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events-inductive reasoning).
Communicate effectively both oral and written in Spanish and English. Speaks correctly, fluently and provide clear information to different audiences in a comprehensive and assertive way, including but not limited to internal and external clients, team members, executives, consultants, among others. Pays full attention and takes time to understand the points being made and demonstrates understanding. Asks questions appropriately, and does not interrupt at inappropriate times.
The ability to evaluate and make good decisions about a business situation taking account the mission, strategic objectives and business nature of the organization. Has a quick mind that can assimilate information from different sources and come up with sound strategic alternatives. Maintains the following: (1) general industry knowledge and translate to internal operation, appropriate to the role in the business, (2) current understanding of the latest global developments, regulatory and legal requirements and assesses the relevance to the business, (3) Knowledge of financial, managerial and cost accounting concepts, systems and reporting processes appropriate to the organization.
Ability to apply data collection, data mining, data analysis and statistical techniques to evaluate information. Uses a comprehensive approach to questions status and generates innovative ideas. Applies problem solving techniques for every situations. Identifies actions to transform business.

Monda to Friday 9:00am-6:00pm 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
