Our client, a fast-growing Software Development organization in Irvine, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key decision-making processes and drive the financial success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights through variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting.
+ Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for financial projections and scenario planning.
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
+ Monitor and analyze market trends and economic data to support strategic decisions.
+ Assist in creating presentations for stakeholders, including board meetings and executive updates.
+ Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and revenue growth.
+ Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
+ 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, Pivot Tables, and macros) and experience with financial software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, or Oracle).
+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable insights.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ High degree of accuracy and focus on data integrity.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders across the organization.
